RHUL's very own a cappella vocal group

We are Absolute Harmony, Royal Holloway’s very own Acappella vocal group

We sing a wide array of original arrangements, ranging from the latest radio hits to old classics, all sung in five part harmony.

Not satisfied with  providing Royal Holloway with beautiful Acappella music, we are also involved in the local community. Through the university’s Community Action Volunteering programme joined the residents at Schroder Court for the Sing-a-long Surrey programme and helped with garden clean-ups. We have also collaborated with Sing for Samaritans to raise money for their charity: an organisation that provides emotional support for those who struggle with mental illnesses. For our efforts, we won the Community Shield for 2015/16 and hope to build upon this further!

Coming Up

We started off the 2019/20 year with a bang in the Autumn term, participating in a night at the theatre, running events like Abfilth at the Students Union and raising loads of money for charity! We have so many great events to look forward to during the Spring term such as our concert in the first week with the one and only Harvard Callbacks. As well as this we will be appearing in events at Medicine and at the Students Union (another Abfilth yay!). Another annual event to anticipate is our festival Acapalaooza which celebrates everything A Capella! You can expect performances, collaborations with other performing arts societies, open mic nights and many more exciting things!

At the end of the year we hold our Golden Vinyl Awards to celebrate the achievements of our members and to show our appreciation of their efforts. We truly value our members and it’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the end of a great year! This is capped off by our annual tour, where we get the chance to perform in the sunshine abroad! Past destinations include Malta, Tenerife and Malaga. We can’t wait to share our love of A Cappella and get more people singing with us this year.
